Throughout life, environmental and biological elements can serve to influence physical, cognitive, and social emotional growth. Developmental psychology attempts to understand why people think and act the way they do at different points in their lives, including neonatal, toddlerhood, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, older adulthood.
